I will playtest your game and provide feedback through quantifiable deliverables
Aspiring Game Dev and Self Proclaimed Game Tester
About this Gig
I provide thorough, professional playtesting services designed to give developers an honest, structured understanding of how their game performs and feels in the hands of a real player.
Each session includes a full playthrough (typically 30 to 90 minutes, depending on scope), with feedback delivered in the format that suits you best either a live call, a recorded walkthrough with commentary, or a written report. My feedback covers first impressions, pacing, difficulty and balance, controls and game feel, clarity of tutorials and UI, immersion, and replayability, along with a documented list of any bugs, glitches, or crashes encountered during testing. Notes are referenced with timestamps or specific examples, so every observation is tied directly to the relevant part of your game.
This service is well suited to indie developers, game jam entries, prototypes, and demos seeking an objective, player-focused evaluation ahead of a wider release. Let me know your game's genre, platform, and any specific areas of concern (pacing, difficulty, onboarding, etc.), and I will tailor the playthrough accordingly.
FAQ
What platforms do you test on?
I test on PC, and web-based games. Let me know your platform when placing your order. I can do mobile (Android) games but it depends on how heavy the game is.
What stage of development do you test at?
I primarily test at the beta or near-final stage, when the game is feature-complete and closer to the finished experience. This allows for more accurate and actionable feedback. I can also test earlier builds (alpha) on request, though feedback at that stage will focus more on core mechanics.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, I'm happy to sign an NDA if your project requires confidentiality.
Do you offer live demo sessions?
I can do live demo sessions if you'd prefer real-time feedback, but I generally recommend an offline playthrough instead — it allows me to take detailed notes, revisit tricky moments, and put together more thorough, considered feedback than I could give in the moment during a live session.
Are you amenable to any genre?
Unfortunately, no horror please. If you want me to playtest horror games, I will decline. (unless you're willing to be charged for more.)
