I will design retail packaging and product labels

About this gig
Packaging has to do a lot in a small amount of space. It needs to look right on the shelf, carry the right information, and make sense to the printer.
I design retail packaging and product labels for consumer brands, DTC products, and growing SKU families. My experience includes national retail packaging, food and beverage, home and body products, e-commerce mailers, and brand systems that had to work across more than one product.
I can help with labels, boxes, pouches, sleeves, mailers, front-of-pack hierarchy, related SKU variants, dieline application, print-ready files, and presentation mockups.
The goal is a clear, brand-right package that is ready for the next production step.
Please send the final copy, dimensions or dieline, required marks, barcode, brand assets, references, and printer specifications. You remain responsible for approving legal, regulatory, ingredient, nutrition, and barcode information before production.
Structural engineering, legal review, photography, printing, and unusually complex dielines are outside the listed packages unless we scope them separately.

FAQ
Do I need a dieline before ordering?
A printer-supplied dieline is strongly preferred. I can develop the visual direction from confirmed dimensions, but final production files need the correct vendor template.
Can you create multiple SKUs?
Yes. The Premium package includes a base design and two related variants. Larger product families can be quoted as a phased system.
Do you write the packaging copy?
You should provide approved copy. I can organize and lightly edit what you send, but naming, claims, legal language, ingredients, nutrition data, and compliance need your approval.
Are print-ready and source files included?
Yes. Final delivery includes the agreed production exports and organized editable files, subject to any third-party font or stock-asset licenses.
Can you redesign an existing label?
Yes. Send the current files, explain what isn't working, and identify what needs to stay. The scope depends on the number of products and how much of the system needs to change.
Do you handle printing?
No. I prepare the artwork for your printer or packaging vendor and can answer reasonable production questions during the handoff.
