Both. I design the part so it can be molded, then design or modify the mold around it, so the two don’t conflict.
Do you provide DFM analysis?
Yes, DFM (DMF) analysis is part of every project. I check wall thickness, draft angles, ribs, bosses, undercuts, gate location and ejection before any mold work starts.
Can you modify an existing mold or part?
Yes. Send the current files and tell me the problem, such as warping, sink marks, long cycle times or a design change. I’ll propose and model the fix.
Can you help me test the design before I invest in a steel mold?
Yes. I can prepare the design for 3D-printed prototypes so you can check fit and function first.
