What is my beta-reading approach ?

Generally, when I'm reading a story, I keep 3 simple questions in mind :

1. Is it consistent ?
2. Is it engaging ?
3. Is it an overall satisfying story ? Not in a "wholesome/good" perspective, but rather in a "fully-developed work" analysis.

For me, coherence, captivating flow and feeling of fulfillment are the most important and challenging aspects in the writing process, therefore my report & inline comments cover those elements & more.
