Depending on your package, I can remove exact or rule-based duplicates, fix spacing and capitalization, standardize dates, numbers, phone fields and country names, split or combine columns, align headers, merge compatible files and validate the finished output.
You receive the cleaned XLSX or CSV file plus a clear summary of what changed. Standard and Premium orders include a more detailed quality report, while Premium includes an audit workbook showing the applied rules and results.
I work from your written rules and never invent missing values or enrich records from external sources unless this is separately agreed. Password-protected files, macros, unusually complex formulas, regulated data or files exceeding the purchased limits require review before ordering.

What do you need to start?
Please send the source files, desired output format, header row, cleaning rules, duplicate criteria, date and number conventions, instructions for missing values and—if files must be merged—the matching key or target column structure.
Which file types do you support?
I support XLSX, CSV and TSV. Google Sheets data should be exported as XLSX or CSV. Password-protected, macro-enabled, legacy or unusually complex workbooks require review before ordering.
What is included in data cleaning?
Cleaning can include removing duplicates, trimming spaces, standardizing capitalization, dates, numbers, phone fields and country names, fixing column structure, splitting or combining columns, aligning headers and applying agreed validation rules.
How do you decide which records are duplicates?
You specify the matching field or combination of fields, such as email, customer ID, SKU or name plus address. I will not delete possible duplicates based on an uncertain assumption.
Can you merge several Excel or CSV files?
Yes. Standard and Premium include compatible-file merging. Please identify the common key and desired output columns. Files with unrelated structures may require a custom offer.
Will you fill in missing information?
I can flag blanks, apply a supplied default value or derive values from an agreed deterministic rule. I do not guess facts or fabricate missing customer, product or financial information.
Is my original file changed?
No. The source file remains unchanged. I deliver a separate cleaned output and a summary or audit sheet describing the transformations.
Can you handle sensitive or personal data?
Please remove unnecessary personal information before upload. Medical, payment, authentication, highly confidential or regulated data must be discussed before ordering and may be declined or require a reduced-data workflow.
Will formulas, formatting and macros be preserved?
Simple formulas and formatting can usually be preserved when agreed in advance. Complex formulas, external links, Power Query connections and VBA macros require review because some cleaning operations may affect them.
What counts as a revision?
A revision is one consolidated request to correct the delivered file against the originally approved rules. New files, additional rows, new matching logic or a different output structure are new scope.
