I will build inventory forecast formula with safety stock in excel
About this Gig
You find out a SKU is out when an order comes in and you walk to the shelf - not from the spreadsheet.
WHAT YOU GET
· A stock sheet with a Status column comparing on-hand against your reorder point: OK, Reorder, or Out of stock
· A purchase list of every non-OK SKU with a suggested order quantity
· A dashboard with stock value, retail value, reorder count and out-of-stock count
· A README explaining which cell drives which formula
HIGHER TIERS
Standard adds 3-month trend, inventory turnover, and a dead stock list.
Premium adds the next-month forecast, safety stock sized from your own volatility and lead time, and the order quantity per SKU. A Validation tab recalculates each figure and prints PASS or names the row that disagrees.
ABC analysis on request - which 20% of SKUs carry 80% of the value.
HOW I CHECK MY WORK
I recalculate every formula on a second sheet and compare row by row. If a row disagrees, it doesn't ship.
WHAT I DON'T DO
No macros, no barcode scanning, no multi-warehouse, no FIFO costing, no Shopify sync. I say so before you order.
HOW IT WORKS
Send your SKU list or a screenshot of your columns, plus reorder points and lead times.

FAQ
What is a reorder point?
The level where you want to act, not a forecast. You set it per SKU; the file compares on-hand against it on every row. It doesn't know your lead times and won't guess demand.
Do you use macros or VBA?
No. Native Excel formulas only. Nothing to enable, nothing that breaks when IT blocks macros. The file opens and recalculates on any machine.
Can you connect this to my Shopify or Amazon store?
No. I work with the SKU list you export, not a live feed. If you need automatic sync, that's a different job and I'd rather say so now than take the order and fail.
What if my SKU list has 500 or 5,000 rows?
Both fine. The formulas run down 1,000 rows by default and I extend that to your actual count. If your data is above 10,000 rows, tell me first so I can judge whether it still belongs in Excel.
Which package should I pick?
Basic gives status and a reorder list. Standard adds trend, turnover and dead stock. Premium adds the forecast, safety stock and the exact order quantity per SKU.
