Does this require any paid facial recognition API?
No. The system uses face-api.js, which runs entirely in the browser. There are no monthly fees or external API subscriptions of any kind required.
Can you add custom fields specific to my business?
Yes. Message me before ordering, and I will include your required fields. Common examples include department, employee number, student ID, ward, and programme type.
Which database does the system use?
The PHP version uses MySQL. ASP.NET Core uses SQL Server. Node.js uses MySQL. All databases are included, configured and ready to use.
Will it work on mobile phones?
The web interface is fully responsive and works on desktop and tablet. Mobile camera verification works on modern browsers that support getUserMedia including Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
Can I change the branding such as logo, company name and colors?
Yes. Custom branding is included in the Premium tier. Basic and Standard tiers use default branding, which you can modify yourself in the source code.
Do you offer support after delivery?
Premium tier includes 7 days of post-delivery support. For Basic and Standard tiers, paid support packages are available on request.
Can you deploy the system to my server?
Yes. Deployment assistance is included in the Premium tier and can be added as a paid extra for Basic and Standard.
How accurate is the face matching?
The system uses Euclidean distance matching with a 0.40 threshold — the same accuracy standard used in production government biometric systems. False match rates are very low under normal lighting conditions.
Can the system handle large numbers of enrolled persons?
Yes. The matching algorithm scans all enrolled records on the server side and returns the best match. For very large databases (10,000+ persons), I recommend the Premium tier, where I can optimise the matching performance.
