Will my emails be lost?
The goal is to preserve your existing mailbox data. Before making changes, I review the current environment and migration method so the appropriate data-transfer or tenant transition process can be used.
Will my domain still work?
Yes, the domain can continue to be used with Microsoft 365. Domain ownership and DNS records need to be handled correctly during the transition, including verification and required MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records.
Will there be email downtime?
The migration is planned to minimize disruption, but the exact impact depends on your current DNS, tenant and mailbox setup. I test mail flow before and after the transition rather than promising an unrealistic blanket "zero downtime" guarantee.
What happens to my existing mailboxes?
Existing users and mailboxes are reviewed before the migration. Depending on your setup, they may remain in the existing tenant after defederation or be migrated to another Microsoft 365 tenant.
