The Fiverr Female Founders Competition will further those missions, offering promising female entrepreneurs access to the resources and guidance they need to see their visions through.

Eligible entrepreneurs submit an online form including a 2-minute video recording

Each of the 4 contestants will be paired with a mentor and given £1,750 to develop their businesses with the help of Fiverr freelancers

To qualify for the competition, you must be:

 

  • A female founder or co-founder 
  • A UK resident
  • 18 or older
  • A Fiverr account holder. You can sign up right now for free in just a few minutes here
  • Willing to travel to London for the final event on November 21, 2023 (if successful)

Please be aware of the following key terms and conditions:

  • Contest runs from 00:01am GMT on 7 September 2023 and closes at 21:00pm GMT on 26 September 2023. 18+ UK resident female founders/cofounders only.
  • Unfortunately, (a) employees and/or contractors of Fiverr International Ltd and Virgin Start Up Limited and (ii) employees of agents or suppliers of Fiverr or VSU or their respective holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the contest or its administration are not eligible to enter.
  • Fiverr account required.
  • Max. one entry per person.
  • Four finalists will be awarded £1,750 worth of Fiverr credits to their Fiverr account to be used by 20 November 2023 and will be invited to the final stage of the Contest (see below).
  • The final stage of the Contest will involve four finalists using their £1,750 Fiverr credits, developing their business (including with a VSU mentor, if desired) and presenting in person to a live audience in London who will vote for the winner. The winner will be awarded with a further £15,000 worth of Fiverr credits to their Fiverr account and the opportunity to work with a VSU mentor and join a VSU programme.
  • Travel, travel insurance, taxes, food, drink, gratuities, service charges, flights and transfers are not included.
  • The finalists will be notified by 10 October 2023 with details of how to claim their position as a finalist. This will involve being contacted by and/or liaising directly with Fiverr and/or VSU.
