What do you need from me to get started?
Whatever you have works — a rough sketch, hand drawing, photos, reference images, a sample part, dimensions, or even just a written idea. The more detail you share, the faster I can deliver. If you're unsure, message me first and I'll tell you exactly what's needed. I always recommend a quick chat
I only have a physical part or a few photos — can you still model it?
Yes. Reverse engineering is one of my specialties. I can rebuild an accurate, fully editable 3D CAD model from sketches, photos, scans, or sample parts — and provide 2D drawings for manufacturing if needed. Just share clear images and key dimensions.
What file formats will I receive?
Standard delivery includes native SolidWorks files (SLDPRT/SLDASM) plus neutral formats STEP and IGES so your files open in any CAD software. I also provide STL/OBJ for 3D printing, DWG/DXF for 2D drawings, PDF drawings, and rendered images on request. Let me know your target software or machine
Can you also do rendering and animation?
Absolutely. I offer photorealistic product renders, exploded views, and motion/assembly animations — ideal for ecommerce, Kickstarter, pitch decks, or marketing. These can be added to any package as gig extras.
How many revisions do I get?
Free unlimited revisions within the agreed scope until you're satisfied. "Within scope" means changes to the original brief — new parts or a redesign beyond what we agreed are quoted separately, which I'll always confirm with you first.
