Hello, I'm Clare. As a former children's drama teacher with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Live Performance, I will bring your stories to life with charming characters. My voice is perfect for children's stories, fairytales & bedtime stories.
I have a neutral English accent and can create a variety of different characters and accents. I create stories that keep children mesmerized.
I offer Professionally narrated and edited children's stories, audiobooks, short stories, fairytales or calming bedtime stories, with ACX requirements, ready to upload as an audio book.
I can also offer music tracks composed by a musician specially for your story - as a gig extra.

Hello, I’m Clare, a trained actor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Live Performance. I'm British born, raised in South Africa, with a Neutral English accent, which works well in international markets. I've been a Speech & Drama teacher, a Voice & Speech coach, as well as an Executive Leadership Coach specializing in Communication. This is what I love! What is your revision policy?
I offer one revision for free with every purchase. A revision would include any minor changes of up to 75 words. Additional revisions can be purchased at $5 for every 75 words. A complete re-record is not included as a free revision. Any changes to script afterwards, are charged for.
What is your time zone & working hours?
I am a British Citizen living abroad in South Africa. My timezone is GMT+2 Let's keep time zones in mind for your deadlines. I usually work a standard working week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. If you require a weekend delivery, please order the extra.
What is your proofreading policy?
As a qualified English Language teacher , I can proofread your script for spelling/grammatical errors or help with diction, flow and sentence construction if required. My rate is $10 for every 1000 words.
What to expect when placing an order.
I will contact you to let you know I've received the order, then I'll review your order and let you know if I have any questions. If necessary we may agree to a sample of the script prior to recording the full script. Then I will then let you know when you can expect your delivery.
Do I need split files?
If you have a voice over that requires it to be split into multiple files, please order the Split Files extra. For $5 you get up to 5 files, please order according to the number of files you need. For audiobooks you may need opening credits, closing credits, separate chapters and a retail sample.
Short Stories vs Audio Books
This gig is priced specifically for short stories. If your story closer to an hour long, (9000 words), or even above 4000 words, then we look at the rate for audiobooks, which is a per finished hour rate of $250.
Weekend Delivery - Saturday & Sunday
As a mother of small children, I usually work a Monday to Friday week. But I understand if you REALLY need a Saturday or Sunday delivery, so please select the "Weekend Delivery" option for an additional $50 so I can make that happen. Alternatively we can move the delivery to Monday.
