Do I need to provide a professional CAD drawing?
Not at all! A simple hand-drawn sketch on paper with basic measurements (in mm or inches) is usually enough for me to create your 3D model.
What file format will I receive?
I primarily provide STL files, which are the industry standard for 3D printing. If you need an OBJ or 3MF file, just let me know, I can provide those at no extra cost.
Can you design a realistic person or animal for me?
No, I specialize in geometric and functional parts (like brackets, cases, and organizers). I do not offer organic sculpting for characters, faces, or highly detailed creatures.
Will the part fit perfectly if it needs to snap onto something?
Since every 3D printer has different tolerances, I design with "standard hobbyist clearances." For a perfect fit, I recommend printing a small "test piece" first. I include one free minor revision to adjust dimensions if needed!
Do you offer 3D printing and shipping services?
No, this gig is for the digital 3D design (STL file) only. You will need to use your own 3D printer or a local printing service to create the physical object.
Can you fix a "non-manifold" or broken STL file I already have?
Yes! If you have a file that won't slice correctly, please send it over. I can usually repair holes and flipped normals to make it printable.
