Dale was an excellent beta reader. His feedback was thoughtful, detailed, and focused on what actually mattered to the story. He clearly explained what worked for him and where he lost confidence without nitpicking or trying to rewrite the book in his own voice. I came away with a stronger manuscript and would absolutely work with him again.

Dale did a beta read of my novel. He gave great feedback, encouragement and actionable suggestions. I would definitely recommend him if you're looking for a close reader who can identify where your manuscript is working well and areas for improvement.

I had Dale beta read my manuscript. He provided detailed and actionable feedback and answered all my questions. He identified multiple aspects of the writing that I had not considered. I would gladly work with him again on another project.

I wanted a beta reader, someone to give me a reader reaction. Dale was much more of an editor, telling me what to change and how. Even when I asked him to focus on a reader reaction, he still gave me too much editing advice. Some was a little useful, but most of it was not. I employed two other beta readers who were much more thorough and insightful.
