I will write your steam store page copy that sells your indie game
Stories That Feel Alive
About this Gig
Your Steam store page is your #1 salesperson. Don't leave it to chance.
Most indie games on Steam fail because their store page fails to communicate why players should care. Weak descriptions, boring feature lists or generic marketing copy.
I write Steam store copy that sells your game without sounding like a corporate press release. Copy that captures your game's tone, hooks players in the first two lines, and gives Steam's algorithm the right signals.
What you get:
Short description
Long "About this game" description
Key features list
About the developer/studio bio
Trailer copy (on-screen text and captions)
Screenshot captions
Steam tags recommendation

FAQ
Do you write for games at any stage of development?
Yes. I work with games at any stage: early concept with just art and pitch, pre-alpha, Early Access, or already released. For unreleased games I work from your build, trailer, GDD or design docs. The earlier we work together, the better the copy aligns with your marketing.
What if my game is in Early Access?
Early Access pages are slightly different from full release. They need to communicate current state, roadmap and player expectations clearly, without overselling. I handle both formats and I'll adapt the copy accordingly.
Do you write in languages other than English and Spanish?
This gig includes English and Spanish only, both delivered in the same document. For additional languages (French, German, Chinese, etc.) I recommend hiring a native localizer once the English version is finalized.
Can you also write the actual story or lore of my game?
Yes, that's my main service as a narrative designer. Check my other gig "Story bibles for indie games" if your game needs narrative design, worldbuilding, characters or plot structure. Steam copy and narrative design work great together.
Do you use AI to write?
I use AI as a support tool (brainstorming, alternative variants, revision), but the final voice, structure and strategy are 100% mine. What you get is authored copy with human criteria and market instinct, not raw AI output. My published novel and my work on Dominus are the guarantee.
What if I don't like the result?
Every order includes 2 revision rounds. I work in phases: first I send a short structural draft for you to approve the direction, then I develop the full copy. This way we avoid arriving at the end with copy that doesn't match your vision.
Can you help me choose the right Steam tags?
Yes, tag recommendation is included in the package. Steam tags heavily affect your game's discoverability, so I'll suggest the combination that best matches your game's genre, mood and audience.
Do you accept all projects?
No. I reserve the right to decline projects that don't align with my professional criteria or personal principles. If for any reason I can't accept your order, I'll let you know immediately and refund any payment in full. No judgment, no drama.
