FAQ
What do you need from me to get started?
A sketch, photo, or measurements, plus the material and how the part will be made (3D printing, CNC, injection molding, sheet metal). Any size limits or tolerances help too. The more detail you share, the faster and more accurate your model will be.
Which file formats will I receive?
Basic includes STL. Standard adds STEP, which opens in any CAD program. Premium adds the native file (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or Inventor) so you can edit the design yourself.
Will my part be ready for manufacturing?
Yes. Standard and Premium include a design for manufacturing check covering wall thickness, fillets, and clearances. Tell me your process and material up front so I can build the model to suit it. Premium also adds tolerance notes.
Can you model a part from a photo or a broken part?
Yes. Send clear photos from several angles with a ruler or key measurements in view. For exact fits I may ask for more dimensions. Models made from photos alone are estimates, not exact.
How many revisions do I get, and what do they cover?
Basic includes 1, Standard 3, and Premium 5. Revisions cover changes to the agreed design. A completely new design or major scope change would need a new order or an extra.
