Do I have to purchase additional rights for my order?
Probably. The basic order only covers internal use only projects such as corporate training, answering systems, etc. You need Commercial Rights to use the audio to promote any product, service, etc, that generates revenue. Broadcast rights are for public outlets like YouTube, Social Media, TV, Radio
What do I need to provide with my order and script?
I need your script in DOC or PDF format. It is also VERY important to get your directorial notes on the vocal recording with regard to emotion, vocal tone, speed of speech, and who the intended audience is. If you can find a YouTube video that sounds like what you want, that's even better!
Can I get my order faster than 3 days?
Yes. I offer same day processing (24 hours or less) for an additional $30 per 450 words.
Do you offer discounts for larger projects?
Yes absolutely. If you have a large project, please send me a message, and I can build a custom offer for you. Basically: 0-150 words $20 150-600 10 cents/word 600-1000 9 cents/word 1000-2500 8 cents/word 2500-4000 7 cents/word 4000-6000 6 cents/word 6000-9000 5 cents/word 9000 & up 4.5 cents/word
Are revisions included in my order?
Yes. Your order includes 1 round of revisions. These are typically small changes in vocal tone, speed of speech, emphasis in certain places, etc. You may also need to make minor changes to your script. If the script is completely changed or the entire project needs to be re-recorded there is a fee.
What if I need additional revisions?
If you need revisions outside the scope of what is included in your offer, I charge 10% of the project price per 10% of the project being revised. For instance, if you decide to entirely rewrite the script after it has been recorded, there would be a fee of the base production price.
Are you comfortable with mature or explicit content?
Yes. I've done plenty work for mature audiences, including roles with considerable swearing, graphic scenes of sex or violence, and specifically explicit material such as erotica.
Are there projects you won't work on?
I only have a few reasons to decline a project. I will not record projects that are harmful or hurtful to others. This may include some political, religious, social commentary, or other such text. I am happy to read your script and let you know if I'm comfortable working on it.
