I have 10 years experience in the Film and TV industry working in 40+ story rooms. These rooms include shows for Netflix, Amazon, Goalpost Pictures (The Invisible Man, Upgrade) and Bunya Productions (High Ground, Mystery Road, Sweet Country).

Each script should:

Be formatted to industry standard

Have scene numbers

Tips:

Label your first draft as "Draft 0" and your first redraft as "Draft 1". "Draft 1" is what you send out into the big wide world.

Never underestimate the value of a 'Dialogue Pass'. Reading a script with the specific goal of paring down dialogue will often make dialogue better.

NOTE: True coverage is a "book report" like document that gives a broad impression and isn't meant for a writer. This format will be adhered to (as it can be helpful to see how a script is viewed by producers) but I'll give much more helpful writer specific feedback.
