About this gig
I am an experienced session musician having played on stage or in the studio with such distinguished and varied names as Ward Thomas, Imelda May, Joss Stone, the Levellers, Seth Lakeman and Martin Simpson. I am also experienced in many genres including folk, jazz, pop, country, bluegrass, blues and various world musics such as Indian and Eastern European. I am an experienced guitarist, particularly as a member of the award winning Urban Folk Quartet.
All I need from you is the track you want me to play on. Chord sheets and any specific ideas you have are welcome but not essential. I always try to listen carefully to what it is that is needed from me and deliver accordingly!

I am an experienced professional banjo player, singer and guitarist. I have toured the world performing and teaching with tours of the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India and throughout Europe. I also have five solo albums alongside my work with the Urban Folk Quartet and in various other line ups. I have also performed on stage or in the studio with the likes of Imelda May, Ward Thomas, the Levellers, Joss Stone and Seth Lakeman. I am also one of very few non-Americans to teach at the top American banjo camps.

How good does my recording quality need to be?
Don't worry we can make it work! Whether it's recorded on a phone or in a studio, as long as I can hear the chords and everything it's all good!
How much instruction do you need?
As much or as little as you want! If you have a track and you just want me to play a guitar part that's tasteful and fits then that's fine. If you have a more specific idea of what you want (arpeggios, chords, harmonies, solos) then that's fine too.
Can you add electric guitar rather than acoustic?
Yes!
