FAQ
Why did KDP reject my file?
The most common reasons are a wrong page size, missing bleed, text too close to the gutter or edges, and fonts that are not embedded. Send me the rejection email and I'll find the exact cause.
How do I know my spine width?
It depends on your page count and paper. For white paper it is pages x 0.002252 in, for cream pages x 0.0025 in. I calculate it for you and send a cover template with the exact size.
Do I need bleed?
Only if images or backgrounds touch the edge of the page. With bleed your page must be 0.125 in wider and 0.25 in taller than the trim size. I check which one your book needs.
Can you fix a Word document?
Yes. Send the .docx and I'll set mirror margins and the gutter for your page count, then export a print-ready PDF (Premium package).
Will you change my text or design?
No. I only change what is needed to pass KDP review, like page size, margins and export settings. Your words and design stay the same.
