I will develop your board game mechanics and prototype and board game balancing

About this gig
You have the game idea.
But an idea isn't a playable game.
Many aspiring game creators know exactly what they want their game to feel like, but get stuck when it comes to the difficult questions:
- How does a player's turn actually work?
- What meaningful choices should players make?
- How do the cards interact?
- How do players score?
- How do you prevent one strategy from becoming too powerful?
- How long should a game last?
And most importantly, how do you turn all of those ideas into a system that is actually fun to play?
That's where I come in.
I design board game and tabletop game mechanics from scratch, transforming your concept into a structured gameplay system that can be prototyped and playtested.
WHAT I CAN DESIGN
- Core gameplay loop
- Turn & round structure
- Player actions & interaction
- Card systems
- Resource systems
- Combat systems
- Trading systems

If you have an idea sitting in your head, you don't need to figure out every mechanic yourself.
Send me the concept, and I'll turn it into a playable game system.

FAQ
Do I need to have a complete game idea?
No. You can come with a rough concept, theme, or basic idea. I'll help develop the mechanics around it.
Can you design the mechanics completely from scratch?
Yes. I can develop the core loop, player actions, interactions, scoring, card systems, rules, and other mechanics based on your game's goals.
Do you also design the artwork?
This gig focuses primarily on game mechanics and systems. Visual artwork can be discussed separately if needed.
Can you design card games?
Yes. I can create card categories, card effects, interactions, turn structures, scoring, and balancing for card-based games.
Can you balance an existing game?
Yes. If you already have a prototype, I can analyze the mechanics and help identify problems such as dominant strategies, weak choices, runaway leaders, excessive randomness, or pacing issues.
Do you create a physical prototype?
The Premium package provides prototype-ready documentation. Physical manufacturing is not included unless specifically agreed upon.
Do you write the rulebook?
A structured rulebook draft is included in the Premium package. Smaller rule documentation can be included in lower packages depending on the scope.
How many cards will my game need?
I don't use a fixed number for every game. The card count should be determined by the gameplay loop, player count, game length, replayability, and balancing requirements.
Can you help after I playtest the game?
Yes. Playtesting feedback is extremely useful for identifying problems with the first version. Additional balancing and revisions can be discussed based on the testing results.
What information should I send before ordering?
Send your theme, target audience, player count, desired play time, objective, examples of games you like, and anything you've already developed.
