What counts as a "bug fix"?
A bug fix is a specific, reproducible error in your application. It includes root cause investigation, the fix itself, and a brief explanation. It does NOT include new features, redesigns, or refactoring of unrelated code.
Do you handle server migrations?
Yes. I migrate legacy PHP apps between servers and providers (AWS, Rackspace, Hetzner, VPS, dedicated). I audit the current setup, configure the new server, migrate code and database, test, update DNS and keep a rollback plan. Zero-downtime migrations are possible with planning.
Which legacy frameworks do you support?
Symfony, Laravel, Yii, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Lumen, Drupal, and custom PHP frameworks. I also work with PHP Vanilla (no framework),
Can you upgrade my PHP version safely?
Yes. I've led PHP 7.1 → 7.4 upgrades on production platforms. I review compatibility, test thoroughly, and deploy safely. Upgrades from 5.x or 7.x to 8.x are available as an extra or in Premium.
Can you take over an abandoned project?
Yes, but I need to review the code first. Send me the repo or a zip and I'll assess the state before quoting. Legacy projects always take longer than expected, so I prefer to confirm scope before accepting.
Do you need access to my server?
Only if the fix requires it. For most bugs, I can work with the code locally. If server access is needed, I'll ask for SSH or a staging environment.
What if the bug is bigger than expected?
I'll let you know immediately and quote the additional work as an extra. I never proceed with out-of-scope work without your approval.
Do you provide documentation for the fixes?
Yes, in Standard and Premium. Documentation includes the root cause, the fix applied, and any recommendations to prevent similar issues. Basic includes a brief explanation only.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. I can sign an NDA before starting. Just send it to me through Fiverr.
What if I need something not listed here?
