About this gig
I build custom Hugo themes from your reference design config and data-driven, with no hardcoded content in templates. Every section (hero, services, testimonials, pricing, portfolio) is powered by YAML/TOML data files, so content updates don't require touching template code.
Background: 25+ years in tech, Senior TPM. I run my own fully custom Hugo site on Netlify and have built multi-section themes covering portfolios, services, blogs, newsletters, and product pages.

A Techie with hobbies. Having grown up on a steady diet of radio during my early childhood, when there was no TV around, my interest has always been in the field of voice. I was selected as a RJ/Creative Writer for India's first FM radio station Radio Mirchi (but didn't join sadly). Later, I founded and hosted a popular Hindi podcast. I do freelance gigs for Voice overs, and have worked with agencies such as GM Voices (now Blend Voice), Alta Lang & Voice Hansa. I am fluent in Hindi, English and Bengali.

Do you design from scratch, or only from a reference?
This gig converts an existing design — yours, a Figma file, or a licensed template — into a working Hugo theme. For original visual design, message me first; I can scope that separately.
Why does "config-driven" matter?
Content lives in YAML/TOML data files, not hardcoded in templates. Adding a testimonial or changing a headline is a data edit, not a code edit — no developer needed after handover.
Can you also deploy it for me?
Yes, Netlify deployment is included from Standard tier up. Basic tier delivers a ready-to-deploy project with setup instructions.
Do you use a paid theme or third-party template as a base?
No. Every theme is written from scratch to match your reference design, not a re-skin of a marketplace template.
What if I need CMS-style editing for non-technical team members?
Add the Decap/Netlify CMS extra, or choose Premium — includes a Git-based CMS UI so content can be edited without touching data files directly.
What Hugo version and hosting do you use?
Latest stable Hugo (extended version), deployed on Netlify by default. Vercel and GitHub Pages also supported on request.
