The company was experiencing challenges with inefficient design workflows, inconsistent CAD models, inaccurate dimensions, and difficulties converting initial concepts into practical, manufacturing-ready products. These issues were affecting prototyping, revisions, production planning, and overall project timelines. As a professional 3D CAD designer, I was responsible for transforming sketches, concepts, reference images, and technical requirements into accurate and functional 3D CAD models. I developed detailed mechanical components, product designs, assemblies, enclosures, and custom parts while maintaining a strong focus on dimensional accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability. I also reviewed and improved existing CAD designs, identified design inconsistencies, refined dimensions and geometry, and prepared detailed technical drawings to support manufacturing and prototyping. Where necessary, I optimized components for 3D printing and CNC production, ensuring that designs were practical and suitable for their intended application. By introducing a more structured and precise modeling approach, I helped reduce design errors, simplify revisions, improve communication between design and production teams, and create a smoother transition from concept to finished product. My attention to detail and commitment to delivering clean, professional CAD work contributed to more efficient product development and improved project outcomes. This experience strengthened my ability to understand client requirements, solve complex design challenges, and deliver professional CAD solutions that balance precision, functionality, aesthetics, and real-world manufacturing requirements.
