Video calls that connect sometimes are worse than ones that never connect.

Most WebRTC problems are not in the video code. They are in what happens around it: a user drops off mobile data mid call, the app gets backgrounded, ICE fails behind a strict NAT, or two people join at once and signalling goes out of order.

I have built 1 to 1 and group video calling in production - WebRTC with an SFU, call state that survives app restarts, and reconnect handling so one person losing signal does not end the call for everyone.
