I design non-isolated topologies (Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost, Synchronous Rectifiers) and isolated topologies (Flyback, Forward, Half-Bridge, Full-Bridge, and LLC Resonant converters), as well as pure sine wave DC-AC inverters.
Do you help specify custom magnetics (transformers and inductors)?
Yes. For isolated designs like Flyback or LLC converters, I calculate and specify the required core geometry (e.g., EE, ETD, PQ), primary/secondary turn ratios, primary inductance, and wire gauges needed for your operating frequency
How do you keep EMI and noise levels low in high-frequency switching circuits?
I apply strict high-power PCB design rules: keeping high di/dt switching loops compact, utilizing continuous ground planes, implementing RC snubbers, isolating sensitive feedback traces, and adding input/output EMI filte
What EDA CAD software will you use for my design?
