What do you need from me before starting?
I will ask you some basic questions regarding your requirements and what features you want on your website. I would need you to provide the content, articles, your logo, and any images. I will need your Wix login, or you will need to add me as a contributor to your site.
Do I have to have a domain already?
No, Wix offers plans where you can get a fee domain name for 1 year when you sign up for one of their plans. If you already have a URL name you will also need to purchase a plan from Wix to connect it to your site. Wix plans are Combo, Premium, Unlimited, E-Commerce or VIP.
Can you add other things not listed in your description?
Yes, just contact me before hand and let me know what you would like to add for pricing.
Will my site look good on a mobile phone?
Yes, If you select a responsive theme within Wix, I will make sure each page displays correctly on mobile phones as well.
I've noticed that some Wix websites have Wix ads on their sites. Will that be on mine as well?
Unfortunately, yes, unless you upgrade to Premium in Wix, they will place ads on all pages for free basic sites. Check out Wix plans here: https://www.wix.com/upgrade/website
Do you design eCommerce sites?
Yes! An ecommerce store setup is $50, plus an additional cost per product. For each product, I will need the product title, description, image, price, and any other details provided.
What if I already have a URL name and want to connect it to the website?
If you already have a URL name, you will have to purchase a Wix plan to connect it to your site. Plans include Combo, Premium, Unlimited, E-Commerce or VIP. I will need your login information from where you have purchased your domain name in order to connect it to your website.
Will I be able to manage my website once it is completed?
Yes, you will be able to add/edit or delete stuff from your website when your site is completed. Wix also has a support community where you can find answers for anything you would like to know how to do.
