What format should I send my raw footage in?
Any format works — MP4, MOV, AVI, MXF, MKV. Mainly, I work in Adobe Premiere Pro and Cap Cut, which handles virtually every format. Just upload to Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or any cloud storage and send me the link. No special preparation needed.
Do you add captions / subtitles?
Yes — burned-in open captions are included on every video as standard. Research shows 85% of social media video is watched on mute, so captions aren't optional — they're essential.
Can you match a specific editing style I've seen?
Yes. Send me a reference video that has the pacing, caption style, transitions, and colour grade you want — I'll match it. The more specific your reference, the closer the result. I've matched styles for clients in beauty, wellness, fitness, food, and e-commerce industries.
My footage is long — a podcast or interview. Can you handle that?
Yes — long-form editing is part of my professional background. I've edited full podcast episodes and interview series at Spa Ceylon Ayurveda. For footage over 90 minutes, message me before ordering and I'll give you a custom quote based on the raw footage length and what you need.
Can you add motion graphics or animated text to my video?
Yes — this is a key differentiator. I work in both Premiere Pro and After Effects, which means I can add animated lower thirds, kinetic text, branded overlays, and motion graphics directly inside the edit. No separate motion designer needed.
What platforms do you optimise for?
TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube (standard), Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest video, Twitter/X. Each platform has different ideal specs — aspect ratio, resolution, duration, caption style, and pacing. I format exports specifically for whichever platform you're posting on.
Do you do colour grading?
Yes — colour grading is included in every package. I correct for white balance, exposure, and skin tones first, then apply a grade that matches the mood of your content.If you want a specific look, send a reference.
What if I don't like the edit?
We revise until it's right. Basic includes 2 revision rounds, Standard includes 3 per video, Premium includes 5 per video. If you want to add more revision rounds, that's available as an extra. I don't deliver and disappear — I stay on the project until you're happy with the result.
