About this Gig
Hello, my name is Dmytro) I have been working with STM8 microcontrollers for more than 10 years. And I will be glad to share my experience in this field.
How it all started for me. I was engaged in repairing electronics and a friend came to me, who said that he got tired of counting bales (these are such huge packages of hay) after the baling machine. Since I had a debugging board at hand, a display and a corresponding DC-DC block, I quickly made him a counter for a baling machine that was triggered by pressing a button and displayed the number of bales. He took it and used it successfully for about a month, after which he asked to make a printed circuit board to add permanent memory, a reset and erase memory buttons. This is how my production journey with STM8 microcontrollers began.
Since then, I have completed the following projects on STM8:
- Bale counter with EEPROM memory.
- 8-channel tachometer for the combine
- Climate control for the car
- Control of 24 relays
- Voltage meter
- Engine hours counter
- 4-channel thermometer

From the equipment I have: dicovery board with STM8S003K3T6, dicovery board with STM8S105C6T6, several "STM8S103F3P6-MODUL" and logic analyzer "Saleae logic 8"
What development environment do you use?
Now I have available IAR, another ST Visual Develop / ST Visual Programmer + Сosmik. I use Windows as an operating system. If necessary, I can install and use Linux and other development environments.
