About this gig
Got a Python script that works on your machine, but need to share it with people who don't have Python? I'll turn it into a Windows desktop app they can just double-click.
I'm a senior software developer with 8+ years of commercial experience, and I build Windows desktop tools with Python, PySide6 and PyInstaller.
What I can do:
- Package your script into a single .exe that runs without Python
- Build a clean GUI with buttons, inputs, file pickers and output
- Keep the app responsive while long tasks run
- Add saved settings, a custom icon and a proper Windows installer
What I need from you:
- Your script and any files it uses
- A short description of what it does and how you run it
- For GUI orders, a rough idea of the inputs and outputs you want

FAQ
Will the .exe work on computers without Python installed?
Yes. Everything your script needs is bundled into the app, so it runs on any modern Windows PC.
My script doesn't fully work yet. Can you still package it?
Yes, but add the "Fix/debug script" extra. Packaging only works reliably if the script runs correctly first, so I'll fix it before building.
Can you make a Mac or Linux version?
Not currently. I only offer Windows builds so I can test every app properly before delivery.
Why does Windows or my antivirus show a warning when I open the .exe?
This is common with new, unsigned apps and doesn't mean anything is wrong. I'll explain how to get past it, and code signing is available if you have your own certificate.
What if my script uses libraries like pandas, Selenium or OpenCV?
That's fine. Most libraries package without issues. Let me know which ones you use before ordering, since a few need extra setup.
