Can you speak English?
Yes! I also record English VO - however, only American English.
Which Usage Rights do I need for my project?
If the project, which includes my voice is marketed organically only, then you don't need to purchase any usage rights. But if the project is published as a paid ad (Youtube Ads, Meta Ads, TV, radio campaigns etc.), then you need to choose the appropriate usage rights you need from the gig extras.
Delivery: What format (MP3, WAV) can I expect?
Two formats: WAV (48kHz/24bit) and MP3. If you need an additional format - no problem. Furthermore, you will find two WAV-files. One raw (cut, clean, no noise), and one pre-processed version (EQ and compression included).
What gear do you use to ensure high quality?
I'm working in a custom Studiobricks PRO booth, which has been treated by audio engineers to ensure top notch acoustics. Microphones: Neumann U87, Sennheiser MKH 416, Lewitt LCT 540. Interfaces: Universal Audio Apollo Twin and RME Audio Babyface Pro.
Can you record German voice over without an accent or dialect?
Absolutely! I record standard German voice overs without an accent or dialect. This means you can use my voice to market not only in Germany, but also in the whole DACH region, which includes Switzerland and Austria as well.
How many revisions are included, and what costs extra (e.g., script changes vs. performance tweaks)?
Performance Tweaks are free. Script changes really depend on the scope. Minor changes are mostly free, while major ones do cost extra. How much depends on the scope and so it can vary. Please be assured that prices are negotiable, and I'm always trying to give my clients the best deal possible.
Can I get more than one revision if needed?
Of course - just tell me in case you do and I can make you an offer. Also, if the client isn't happy, I will revise my work until he/she is for no additional cost. This however does not include script changes.
Pronunciation: How do you handle unique names or made-up words?
A big part of my job is research. But if there are any questions on my end concerning the pronunciation of specific words or questions about the script in general, I will contact you before recording. You can also add notes to the script if there is anything I should be looking out for.
Can I give you detailed directions?
Of course, I'd be glad to learn as much as possible about your project. It helps my performance a lot to know about your target audience, for example. Or which emotions you're striving for. Or how long your video is going to be. Reference video/audio is appreciated!
Can you do lip syncing?
Yes and no. If the script is optimized for it, I'd love to! To check if the script is workable for lip syncing - and to get an individual offer - please contact me before ordering. Thanks!
