WHAT I FIX AUTOMATICALLY:
Extra spaces and inconsistent capitalization. Mixed number and currency formats (1,200 / $1200 / full-width digits become 1200). Mixed date formats, unified only when unambiguous. Exact duplicate rows (removed and logged). Column names standardized across files (explicit mapping, no guessing).
WHAT I FLAG FOR YOUR REVIEW - NEVER GUESS:
Ambiguous dates (01/07/2026: Jan 7 or Jul 1?). Conflicting duplicates (same ID, different values). Name variants that may be the same customer. Values that cannot be parsed (kept as-is, listed).
WHAT I NEVER DO:
Overwrite your original file - you always get a cleaned copy plus a full change log. Fill in missing values by guessing. Merge records that only look the same.

Merging combines files into one report. This gig fixes data quality issues - formats, duplicates, inconsistencies - and flags risky items for your decision. The Standard package makes your files merge-ready if you need both.
Will you fix customer names or addresses?
No. Possible variants (e.g. "ACME Corp" vs "acme corp.") are flagged with a suggestion list. You decide what is actually the same entity - I never merge them automatically.
What happens to missing values?
They stay empty and are listed in the review report. I do not fill gaps by guessing.
What file formats do you accept?
.xlsx and .csv. Output is delivered in the same format, with encoding that opens correctly in Excel (UTF-8 with BOM for CSV).
My data contains personal information. How is it handled?
Please remove or mask any columns not needed for the cleaning job before sending. Your files are used only to complete your order, never shared, and deleted after completion.
Is my original file changed?
Never. The process is non-destructive: your original is kept as-is, the cleaned version is delivered separately, and every change is logged.
