I'm Dr. Throwback — aka Alex. My journey into mixing and mastering began 20+ years ago with a humble soundcard (one XLR) and a piece of software called Cool Edit Pro — which became Adobe Audition. Then, it was the M-Box Mini and Pro Tools, and things kept escalating. These days, I work with an array of refined gear — including my beloved LA-610 MKII tube preamp and compressor, my AKG DT 1990 Pro studio headphones, and a carefully curated selection of tools and plugins.
