he spent an hour showing me how to compile my own exe files from python scripts and helped me overcome all the problems I had encountered using Anaconda. Now I use vs code directly outside the Anaconda environment.

He did a great job and started with a demo to make sure he had a conceptual understanding of the automated step first. Furthermore, he showed me where there were issues with the website used (not in our control and not in his) and how some of the IDs changed so he soft-coded those IDs in case the website updated so the automated step would still work.
