I will design functional mechanical parts and prototypes for 3d printing

About this gig
Looking to turn your sketch, idea, or broken component into a functional, 3D printable mechanical part?
I specialize in parametric CAD design engineered specifically for additive manufacturing. Whether you need custom brackets, motor mounts, robotic linkages, or functional prototype parts, I design with real-world manufacturing tolerances in mind so your parts fit hardware (screws, bearings, nuts) on the first print.
What I can do for you:
- Mechanical components (brackets, adapters, spacers, fittings)
- Robotics & automation hardware (motor mounts, chassis components, custom fixtures)
- Functional replacements for broken plastic/mechanical parts
- Converting hand sketches, 2D drawings, or concept ideas into parametric CAD models
- Tolerancing for hardware integration (M3/M4/M5 bolts, threaded inserts, bearings)
What you will receive:
- Production-ready 3D print files (.STL, .3MF)
- Universal CAD exchange formats (.STEP, .STP)
- 2D Technical drawings with critical dimensions (.PDF, .DXF) upon request
- Native parametric source files (FreeCAD / STEP)
Why work with me?

FAQ
Can you work from a simple hand-drawn sketch?
Yes. As long as key dimensions (length, width, hole diameters, and spacing) are clearly marked, a clear photo of a hand drawing is enough to start.
Will the parts fit standard bolts, bearings, or nuts?
Yes. I apply standard 3D printing clearance offsets (typically 0.2 mm – 0.4 mm depending on printer type) to ensure standard hardware fits cleanly without post-processing.
What file formats do you deliver?
For printing, you will receive .STL or .3MF. For CAD and further editing, I provide universal .STEP files along with parametric source files.
