I will create visual effects and shaders for unity
About this Gig
Please contact me before placing an order to avoid any inconvenience. Also, it would be appreciated if you could specify which Render Pipeline, Platform and Unity Version you need the effect developed for.
I will create Visual Effects and Shaders for Unity (URP + HDRP only) ranging from a simple effect such as an outline shader or a laser VFX to complex effects such as interactive vegetation or refractive glass.
Tools I use to develop effects:
- VFX Graph + Shader Graph
- Shuriken Particle System
- Custom Render Passes + Post Processing Effects
- HLSL Shaders (Premium)
- Adobe Photoshop + After Effects.
- EmberGen.
All package deals come with documentation on how to use the effect and unlimited revisions (within the conditions of the original deal of course. For example, adding another component to the effect that was not discussed will cost extra).

FAQ
Why does the Render Pipeline and Platform matter?
Not all features/tools of the Unity Engine are compatible with all pipelines and platforms. For example, scene depth does not render for certain VR Headsets. Another example is that Shader Graph and VFX Graph are not available for the Standard Render Pipeline.
Will there be documentation for the desired effect?
Yes, I will produce documentation detailing what Platforms and Render Pipelines the effect is compatible with and how to use/import the effect into Unity.
Why does the Unity Version matter?
There are a number of features throughout Unity that have recently been developed or updated. For example, sampling a skinned mesh for Visual Effect Graph in URP has only been added in the last 2 years, if you are using an older version this feature will not exist.
What would be classed as a simple effect?
Effects that do not require multiple components such as: - A puddle decal (does not react to footsteps) - Rain drops and splashes. - Clouds (not volumetric). - Toon shader.
What would be classed as a complex effect?
Effects that require scripts for interactivity, multiple textures for variation, certain screen effects or a number of Visual Effect systems/shaders. For example: - Spreading fire. - Rain drops (screen effect). - Shader that uses world coordinates to blend textures. - Explosions.
