I will do a code review of your PHP, laravel, or javascript code
About this Gig
You are about to launch, inherit, or pay for code, and you want a second
pair of eyes on it before it costs you real money. That is what this gig
is.
I have built web software for over twenty years: modern PHP and Laravel,
JavaScript and TypeScript with Vue and React, and the older generations
of web code underneath them. I led the rebuild of a legacy platform used
by around 2,000 call-center agents and built a complete SaaS platform as
its only developer. Reviewing code, my own and other people's, has been
part of that work the whole time. I read code in most languages fluently
even where I do not write it daily.
Every package gives you the same kind of report:
- Findings ranked by severity, with file and line references
- A plain-language explanation of why each one matters
- Honest scope: if the code is in good shape, the report says so
Reviews are done by reading, not by running a scanner and forwarding its
output. I use static analysis tools where they help, and the judgment in
the report is mine.
This gig is review only: I do not change your code in these packages.
If the report finds problems you want fixed, my bug-fix gig or a custom
offer can take it from there, and the report m

FAQ
Will you fix the problems you find?
Not inside this gig. The deliverable is the diagnosis: a ranked, written report. If you want the fixes done too, my bug-fix gig covers that, or I can quote the fixes as a custom offer once you have the report.
Is my code kept private?
Yes. I access it only for the review, you can revoke repository access as soon as the order completes, and your code never leaves the order. I do not reuse, share, or train anything on client code.
What stacks do you review?
PHP, Laravel, and Python are home ground. JavaScript and TypeScript, including Vue, React, and Node, are right behind them. If your stack is something else, message me first and I will tell you honestly whether I can give it a fair review.
My codebase is huge. Which package fits?
Message me first with a rough size. Reviews are scoped by section or feature on large codebases; a Deep Audit covers a whole small application, and for something bigger we agree the highest-risk sections to review first.
Is this just an automated scan?
No. Scanners are useful and I use them, but they cannot tell a dangerous design from a harmless one. The product here is a human read by someone who has shipped and maintained this kind of code for twenty years.
I am about to pay a developer for finished work. Can you check it first?
That is one of the best uses of this gig. The Standard package covers a feature end to end, and the report gives you a concrete list to take back to your developer if anything is short.
