Your opening chapters decide whether a reader, or an agent, keeps going. I will read them the way your audience will, then show you exactly what is working and what needs attention.
You will receive a written editorial report covering plot, character, pacing, dialogue and voice, plus in-line comments throughout your manuscript, so you can see my thinking line by line. Will you share or use my manuscript anywhere?
Never. Your manuscript is treated with complete confidentiality, is never shared with anyone, and is used for nothing except writing your feedback. Your story remains entirely yours.
What's the difference between your report and the in-line comments?
The report is the big picture: plot, character, pacing, dialogue and voice, with clear suggestions for your next draft. The in-line comments sit in your manuscript itself, showing you exactly where and why something works or wobbles. You get both in every package.
Will you rewrite parts of my book for me?
No, and that's deliberate. I diagnose and suggest, sometimes with example lines to show what a fix could look like, but the rewriting stays in your hands. It's your book, and my job is to make your version of it stronger.
