When will I receive my order?
As soon as possible! Delivery time may change depending on my workload and the time of year, but I always endeavour to deliver within 48 hours for my standard orders of 1000 words or fewer. If you place a rush order, it depends on the time of day, but you will be next on my list!
Do I need to buy Commercial Rights?
Commercial Rights are required any time you intend to make money using my voice! Whether you're reselling it, promoting a commercial enterprise or using it on a monetised channel. Paid marketing channels (such as radio advert slots and television) will require Full Broadcast Rights as well.
Do I need to buy Broadcasting Rights?
Broadcasting Rights are needed if my recording will be used in a paid broadcast slot. This includes television, radio, streaming (including YouTube) or paid social media advertising slots.
How do revisions work?
Revisions are a way for you to request a change to the way I perform my script. If I pronounce a word wrongly or if the tone doesn't match what you had in mind, I will gladly correct it for you free of charge. Please note that changes to the script aren't covered by revisions and may be chargeable.
How many words do you speak per minute?
What a good question! My natural reading pace falls at roughly 150 words per minute. If you need me to read any faster or slower than that, please be aware that it may sound less natural, the further we stray from that number.
Will you voice my YouTube channel?
Absolutely! I actually have a different gig set aside for YouTube channels, which includes all the licencing you'll need at a discounted rate. Have a look at my other gigs, or send me a message for a custom quote!
Can I include directions without them counting towards the word limit?
Absolutely! I'll only charge for the words I speak. Extra directions are always welcome!
What equipment and software do you use?
I have my trusty Audio Technica 4033a (XLR cardioid condenser), in a studio treated with acoustic foam and bass traps. My DAW of choice is Adobe Audition, in which I handle all my post-production.
