Worked as a Mechanical Product Design Engineer supporting the development of precision-engineered industrial products and plastic components for manufacturing applications. Collaborated with multidisciplinary engineering teams to transform product concepts into manufacturable designs using SolidWorks and Fusion 360. Designed injection-molded plastic enclosures, electrical housings, control panel components, junction boxes, mounting features, and production-ready mechanical assemblies while applying Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to optimize tooling, reduce production costs, and improve assembly efficiency. Produced detailed 3D CAD models, technical drawings, exploded assemblies, bill of materials (BOM), and engineering documentation for prototype validation and manufacturing. Worked closely with tooling engineers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to refine part geometry, wall thickness, draft angles, rib structures, snap-fit features, bosses, and fastening systems for reliable injection molding performance.
