What DAW do you use?
I use Logic Pro
Do you think you can make my song sound professional?
I don’t like taking people’s hard earned money if I don’t think I can do a quality job. If you provide me with a rough mix, I can give you realistic expectations on the quality of mix I can deliver.
Should I send the files without effects/plug-ins?
In general, please send the files without fx/plug-ins unless they are integral to the source’s sound. When in doubt, you can simply provide both.
The guitars/bass were recorded DI. Do you want the DI or the processed AMP'd files?
Please provide both. Even if you’re absolutely in love with your processed guitar sound, the DI file gives me great flexibility outside of tone shaping.
