I use Claude Code every day on a large TypeScript codebase. I'll set it up so it works well on yours.
What I set up:
- A CLAUDE.md written from your actual code, not a template
- Permissions, so it runs your tests and builds without asking every time and stays away from what it shouldn't touch
- Slash commands and skills for the things you do often: releases, reviews, migrations
- Hooks, e.g. format after every edit, or block commands you never want run
- Subagents for code review or research
- MCP servers for your tools: GitHub, your database, issue tracker, error tracking
- Optional: Claude Code in GitHub Actions for pull request reviews

Do I need a paid Claude plan?
Yes. Claude Code needs a Claude subscription (Pro or Max) or an Anthropic API key. I can tell you which fits your usage.
Will this work with my stack?
Claude Code works with any language. I've used it most with TypeScript, React, Node and Swift, and the setup is built around your own build and test commands.
Is it safe to let an AI run commands?
That's what permissions and hooks are for. I set it up so safe commands run freely, risky ones ask first, and the dangerous ones are blocked.
Can you train my team?
Yes, with recorded video walkthroughs your team can rewatch anytime. Workflow and Team include one, and I can record more through a custom offer.
Do you need access to my code?
Read access to the repo is best, so the CLAUDE.md reflects your real project. If you can't share it, I can work from a written brief and a sample.
