I work with legacy and modern Fortran, including Fortran 77, 90, 95, and newer standards. I can fix syntax and compilation errors, convert fixed-form code to free-form, and modernize obsolete language constructs.
How are the source code line limits calculated?
The limits apply to the total physical lines in the source files being modified, excluding comments and blank lines. Basic covers 200 lines, Standard 600 lines, and Premium 1,500 lines. Additional lines can be purchased as an extra.
Will the modernized code produce the same numerical results?
I aim to preserve the original functionality while modernizing the syntax. All packages include basic compilation checks and basic numerical equivalence tests. Extra tests can be assessed through additional regression testing when reference outputs are available.
Can you fix any compilation or runtime error?
I handle reproducible syntax and compilation errors within the agreed scope. Complex numerical bugs, MPI/OpenMP issues, missing dependencies, and problems requiring extensive investigation may need a custom offer. Please contact me before purchasing for discussing your issues.
What do you need before starting?
