Clean Cooking and Sustainable Energy Specialist with over eight years of experience within the United Nations system, including UNDP Madagascar, supporting governments in advancing inclusive and scalable energy transitions across sub-Saharan Africa. I combine strong technical expertise in renewable energy systems and clean cooking technologies with advanced competencies in policy development, regulatory frameworks, and innovative financing mechanisms. I have played a key role in the development of national clean cooking policies, strategies, and standards, including the coordination of multi-stakeholder processes involving governments, standards institutions, development partners, and the private sector. My experience includes supporting the structuring of clean cooking markets through MSME incubation, facilitating access to finance (blended finance, results-based financing, carbon-related mechanisms), and promoting gender-responsive and climate-aligned interventions. I have managed complex multi-agency programmes (UNDP, UNCDF, UNIDO), ensuring effective planning, coordination, and delivery of results in line with donor requirements. Holding a PhD in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, I bring a strong capacity to bridge technical expertise, policy advisory, and financial structuring, contributing to the design and implementation of enabling environments for clean cooking at national and regional levels.
