Hello! I'm Elena, and I am passionate about helping writers bring their stories to life. With my background and knowledge of storytelling, I would love the opportunity to provide you feedback on your novel!
My going rate is $1.50 USD per 1,000 words.
NOTE: I do not work with anyone who has used generative AI to write their novel in any capacity.
As a beta reader, I write comments of opinions, thoughts and feedback, so you will be receiving my first impressions as I progress through your manuscript.
When providing feedback, I focus on:
- Plot
- Character development
- Structure
- Tension and conflict
In the reader report I provide, I answer the following questions to allow you to understand the reader experience of your story, of things that work and things that can improve:
- How was the hook, and was it intriguing enough for me to want to continue?
- Was the plot engaging and easy to follow?
- Were the characters relatable, believable and well-developed?
- Was the dialogue natural?
- How was the tension and pacing of the story?
- What were my favourite parts?
- What do I believe can be improved?
- Did I enjoy the book?
