What information do you need to start my project?
Please provide sketches, drawings, dimensions, reference images or existing CAD files. Information about materials, tolerances, manufacturing processes and functional requirements is also helpful.
Which CAD software do you use?
I primarily use Autodesk Inventor/SolidWorks/Fusion360 for professional 3D modeling, mechanical assemblies and technical drawings. I can deliver STEP, PDF and native Inventor files depending on the selected package.
Can you design parts for CNC machining, injection molding or die casting?
Yes! I have extensive experience in CNC turning and milling, plastic injection molding and zinc die casting. I design components with manufacturing requirements, tolerances and cost efficiency in mind.
Can you perform engineering calculations?
Yes. I offer spring design, mechanical dimensioning and analytical strength calculations for clearly defined applications. Please contact me for a custom quote based on your technical requirements.
What is included in each package?
Basic includes one simple 3D CAD part. Standard adds one technical drawing. Premium includes up to three simple mechanical parts, two drawings and a basic Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review. Complexity limits apply.
Can you improve or optimize an existing mechanical design?
Absolutely. I can review existing components and suggest improvements in manufacturability, material selection, geometry, tolerances, assembly and production costs. The scope will be agreed upon before starting.
Are revisions included in the price?
Yes, each package includes the stated number of revisions. Revisions cover adjustments within the originally agreed scope. Major redesigns, additional parts or new requirements may require an additional fee.
Do you offer custom projects and keep designs confidential?
Yes. I offer custom quotes for complex assemblies, product development and specialized engineering tasks. I treat client information confidentially and can discuss an NDA before starting the project.
