I will run moldflow and dfm analysis to optimize your plastic part

Level 2
About this gig
Do you want your plastic part to mold correctly the first time?
I perform Moldflow simulation and DFM analysis to evaluate and optimize your part design for injection molding, helping you avoid common defects such as short shots, weld lines, sink marks, warpage and cooling issues.
With 5+ years of CAD and molding engineering experience, I provide you with a clear technical report including recommendations you can apply immediately to improve manufacturability and reduce tooling costs.
What I do for you:
-Full Moldflow analysis (fill, pack, cool, warp)
-Design for Manufacturability (DFM) checks
-Identify critical areas in your part
-Gate and runner suggestions
-Cooling layout recommendations
-Clear PDF report with annotated screenshots
Why choose this gig:
This service is not a quick check its a professional engineering analysis that aligns with real injection molding workflows. I use industry-standard CAE tools and provide actionable recommendations for improved yield, quality and cycle time.
How to get started:
Upload your STEP or IGES file and let me know the target material and shot volume (if known). Ill analyze your design and get back to you with findings.

FAQ
What files do you need to start the Moldflow analysis?
Please send a 3D model in STEP, IGES, or Parasolid format. If possible, include the polymer name and gate location (if already defined).
Can you simulate any plastic material?
Yes — I can simulate most thermoplastics (ABS, PC, PP, PA6, POM, etc.) including filled grades like glass fiber or talc. Just share the exact resin name or supplier code if available.
Which software do you use?
I use Visi MoldFlow, a professional simulation tool for injection molding analysis.
What do I receive after the simulation?
You’ll get a PDF report with filling, pressure, temperature, weld lines, and warpage results — plus recommendations to improve your mold design and manufacturability.
Can you also modify or optimize my CAD model?
Yes, I can propose or apply DFM changes in Creo or STEP format — included in the Premium package or available as an extra.
Can you sign an NDA for confidential projects?
Absolutely. I treat all client data as confidential and can sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement upon request.
I’m not sure if my part is ready for analysis — what should I do?
No problem! You can send me your model first. I’ll review it for free and tell you if it’s ready or if minor fixes are needed before simulation.
