I will create 3d cad models and 2d technical drawings in solidworks

About this gig
Got a napkin sketch, a broken part, or a machine with no drawings? I turn it into manufacturing ready SolidWorks files.
I work with job shops, hardware startups, and OEMs who need parts that actually machine correctly the first time not just a 3D model that looks right on screen.
What I build:
- 3D CAD models from sketches, samples, or reverse engineered parts
- 2D technical drawings with proper GD&T, tolerances, and dimensioning
- Sheet metal designs with accurate flat patterns and bend allowances
- SolidWorks assemblies with mates that reflect real fit and function
- As built drawings when your only reference is the physical part
Process:
- Send your sketch, sample, STEP file, or reference part
- I model in SolidWorks, confirm tolerances/materials with you
- You get native files (SLDPRT/SLDASM) + 2D drawings (PDF/DWG/STEP)
No back and forth guessing on fits and tolerances I flag anything ambiguous before it becomes a machining mistake on your shop floor.
If you're prototyping, scaling to production, or need CNC ready drawings your machinist won't have to redline, let's talk specs.

FAQ
What file formats will I receive, and can you match what my machinist/CNC shop needs?
You'll get native SolidWorks files (SLDPRT/SLDASM) plus a 2D drawing package exported as PDF and DWG. STEP and other neutral formats (IGES, STL) are included on request just tell me what your shop or software requires before I deliver, and I'll match it.
I don't have a clean sketch or CAD file can you still model my part?
Yes. A phone photo with rough measurements, a physical sample, a napkin sketch, or an old drawing with no digital source is enough to start. For reverse engineering from a physical part, I'll confirm critical dimensions with you before finalizing the drawing so nothing gets guessed on the shop floor
What happens if the tolerances or fit aren't right once I get the files?
That's exactly what revisions are for — each package includes them. If a dimension, tolerance, or mate needs adjusting after you review the drawing, I'll fix it within the revision count listed.
Will my part design or product idea stay confidential?
Yes. I treat every file and sketch you send as confidential by default. If you need a signed NDA before sharing anything, message me and I'll sign yours no extra charge.
