Do I need to provide sheet music or a MIDI file?
Not necessarily! If you have them, it’s great. However, for my Ensemble and Cinematic packages, I provide professional arrangement services. Just send me your track and a reference of the "lush" sound you want, and I will handle the rest.
Can you record for genres other than Gospel and R&B?
Absolutely. While I specialize in the "lush" sound typical of Gospel, Soul, and R&B, my 12 years of experience include Classical, Pop, Cinematic Film Scores, and even Metal-to-Cello transcriptions.
What files will I receive at the end of the project?
You will receive high-quality, 24-bit WAV stems (individual tracks) for every layer I record. If you order the Full Lush Section, I also include the MIDI files and a PDF of the sheet music for your records.
How do "layers" work in the 16-part arrangement?
To get that massive, "radio-ready" sound, I record multiple takes of each part (Violins, Violas, and Cellos) and stack them. This creates the natural chorus effect and depth found in a live 5-5-3-3 orchestral string section.
