I offer personalized 1-on-1 online lessons for beginners and advanced astrophotographers. Learn to process your own images and understand why each technique works.
What you can learn:
- Complete nebula and galaxy workflows
- Background extraction and color calibration
- Stretching, noise reduction and sharpening
- Star processing and deconvolution
- SHO, HOO and LRGB processing

Lessons are conducted live via screen sharing.
Requirements:
- PixInsight installed and working
- BlurXTerminator, NoiseXTerminator and StarXTerminator installed
- Images fully calibrated with appropriate darks, flats, dark flats and/or bias frames, then stacked and ready for processing
Software licenses are not included.

FAQ
What software do I need for the lessons?
You need PixInsight, Astro Pixel Processor (APP), Adobe Photoshop, and the RC Astro BlurXTerminator, NoiseXTerminator, and StarXTerminator plugins. All software must be installed and working before the lesson. Licenses are not included.
Do my images need to be calibrated and stacked?
Yes. Your images must be fully calibrated using appropriate darks, flats, dark flats and/or bias frames, then stacked and ready for processing. Calibration and stacking are not covered in these lessons.
Are these lessons suitable for beginners?
Yes! Lessons are tailored to your experience level, from beginners learning their first processing workflow to advanced astrophotographers improving specific techniques.
Can we work on my own astrophotography images?
Absolutely! We can work with your own calibrated and stacked images during the lesson. This helps us focus on your data, processing challenges, and goals.
How are the lessons conducted?
Lessons take place live online via screen sharing. We will schedule a convenient time in advance, and you can ask questions throughout the session.
What is included in each package?
Basic includes a 30-minute focused session. Standard includes a 60-minute personalized lesson. Premium includes 120 minutes of in-depth training using your own data.
Will you edit my images for me?
No. This Gig provides live one-on-one training and processing guidance. You will learn how to process your images yourself. Finished image editing, calibration, and stacking services are not included.
