About this Gig
edit script proofreading film script screenplay proofread scriptwriting editor
A great script can lose its impact through tiny errors, awkward dialogue, inconsistent formatting, missed punctuation, or distracting grammar issues.
I refine the mechanics without flattening your voice, so your screenplay reads naturally and professionally from the first scene to the final page.
What I'll check:
- Grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure
- Dialogue clarity, flow, and consistency
- Character names, scene headings, transitions, and stage directions
- Repeated words, typos, continuity slips, and distracting inconsistencies
- Script formatting issues that affect readability
You'll receive a carefully reviewed document with clear corrections and, where requested, a clean version ready for your next stage.
My approach is detail-focused but writer-friendly: I correct what needs correcting while respecting your tone, dialogue, intent, and creative choices. No unnecessary rewriting. No cookie-cutter edits.
Ideal for screenplays, film scripts, TV pilots, short films, web series, and creator scripts.
